Earlier in the year we announced our New for 2013 Seed Collection and now we’re adding even more certified organic, non-GMO seed varieties to our catalog! Di Ciccio Broccoli, Purple Plum Radish, Rainbow Swiss Chard, Lacinato Kale and Red Sails Lettuce are now available through our web site and in select retail locations. As farmers, we frequently rely on these varieties when growing produce for our Community Supported Agriculture shares and are happy to offer these proven crops to our customers.

She’s looking to crowdsource some funds for her journey, to cover plane ticket costs and other travel expenses. She’s also maintaining this tumblr blog that will track her journey.…

My name is Tanja and I’m driven by a question: What does “the good life” mean from an environmental standpoint? I seek the places and spaces where I can explore this question, adding my own creative insights along the way. Throughout my life I’ve developed a skill for cultivating compassionate community spaces, and for the next six weeks that community will be Mano Farm, an organic produce and seed farm in Ojai, California.

Each different type of potato here has its own distinctive flavor and texture as well as color. Some will roast more quickly than others but it doesn’t matter to me if certain pieces in the mix become very soft.
